Farmers Markets - What is Your Favorite Produce?

Probably two of my favorite farm fresh produce from the farmers markets items are cucumbers and cantaloupe. But really, everything is better when its fresh right off the farm. So here I have listed some farmers markets that are worth checking out.

Central Market - Central Market is a historic farmer's market located in downtown Lancaster. The building dates back to 1889 and was designed by a Philadelphia architect. You'll find things such as cookies, hams, cheese, fruits, candies, and baked goods. The market is open Open Year-Round Tuesdays and Fridays, 6:00am to 4:00pm andSaturdays, 6:00am to 2:00pm. Columbia Market House - Since 1869 this market has been providing market fresh foods to the community. The market house is open 9:00am to 6:00pm Thursday and Friday, Saturdays 9:00am to 2:00pm. The address is 308 Locust Street, Columbia, PA 17512. The Phone is (717)684-5767.

Central Market House - This historic market was built in 1888. This market is on the National Register of Historic Places. They have fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and crafts. The market is open Tues, Thursday and Saturday 6:00am - 2:00pm. The address is 34 West Philadelphia Street, York, Pa 17401.

New Eastern Market - Is the only air-conditioned market in York county. They have lots of great Farm-Fresh produce, meats, cheeses, flowers, candy, and baked goods. Check out Bairs chicken for some great rotisserie chicken. The market is open Fridays 9am - 7pm. The address is 201 Memory lane, york, Pa 17402.
