Moving Tips

1.Get rid of all the clutter first! You don't really want to drag around a bunch of stuff you'll never use. Get rid of all those small clothes your not wearing, socks with holes, books your not reading, and paper clutter. Donate the items to charity and what cannot be donated throw away.

2.Get together items in advance such as packing tape, black permanent markers, cardboard, and newspaper for wrapping fragile items.

3.Go to Grocery stores, Liquor stores, toy stores and so on in advance and tell them you are moving most stores will gladly put some boxes aside for you.

4.Make sure you mark boxes on the outside as to what room they correspond to.

5.The boxes from the liquor store are great for packing small fragile items such as glass wear and figurines because of the dividers that are inside them.

6.Pack heavy items such as books in small to medium size boxes so they are not too heavy to pick up.
